SuecouncilKevinText Box: Text Box: I worked for the Royal Bank for 35 years where I became branch manager in 1988 and retired in April of 2007. I have been involved in many community organizations throughout the years, including Minor Hockey, Figure Skating and Cub Scouts, as well as the Lioness Club, the S.R.F. Hospital, a variety of sporting groups and The Arctic Riders. I became a councillor because I now have time to devote to council. I wanted to be involved in the Economic Development of the community, to make sure that the services we have now are still available in the future. Text Box: This is my 3rd term as a councilor for the Town of Smooth Rock Falls. I worked for Tembec until it’s recent closure. I have held many positions for community groups and organization over the years. I was President of the Local 32 Union in Smooth Rock Falls, president of the community’s Minor Hockey league, I’ve served on the Hospital Board and am currently an executive for the Smooth Rock Falls Golf Club. I enjoy being a councillor because I like to help people and it lets me take an active part in insuring our future.
